"What I want in my life is
compassion, a flow between myself and others

Inspiration Soup
Inspiration
When your mind becomes equilibrated you become full of gratitude. When you
become full of gratitude your heart opens. When your heart opens the natural
love you have deep inside comes pouring forth. When this inherent love
exudes outward you will feel inspired inward. When your mind becomes
inspired your body will become enthused. This enthusiasm will become
contagious and it will help you attract the people, opportunities, ideas and
events that will make your inner most dominant thoughts become your
outermost tangible reality. Inspiration demands a state of gratitude.
Gratitude demands a balanced mind. A balanced mind demands the perception of
order. When you perceive disorder and dis-equilibrium your heart becomes
closed off to your natural potential for inspiration. Inspiration is a gift
to those living gracefully. By surrounding yourself with anyone inspired or
anything inspirational you will tend to awaken and maintain your
inspiration. - Dr. John Demartini
Thoughts on a Half-Shell
In his 1920 text The Science of
Chiropractic Dr. B.J. Palmer wrote:
"The mind, soul, spirit, nature, instinct, intuition, subconscious mind, or,
as I prefer to name it, the Innate Intelligence, which Dr. Carver refers to,
runs the human machine, performs all functions in a natural manner,
providing it is in proper order." (1)
The Palmers (the founders and developers of
chiropractic) and others have maintained that vertebral subluxation
interferes with the ability of our Innate to express itself. Chiropractors
have even said that one of the purposes of chiropractic is to "unite man the
physical with God the spiritual" and that chiropractic is a "bigger idea
than medicine, bigger than law and bigger than religion."
Many in positions of power in our profession including
our accrediting agencies, our licensing boards, our associations and our
research institutions shudder at such ruminations. Our half-century of
researching low back pain is a testament to how those who control the
research money think we should be examining our navels.
The May 7, 2001 issue of Newsweek should provide
somewhat of a wake up call to our profession.(2) Titled "God & the Brain.
How We're Wired for Spirituality" it is the cover story of that issue.
http://www.msnbc.com/news/569481.asp Reviewing the "new field of
neurotheology" the article discusses how scientists are seeking the
"biological basis of spirituality" and asks the question "Is God all in our
heads?"
According to Newsweek, researchers and research
institutions like
• MIT
• The American Psychological Association
• Columbia University (Center for the study of Science and religion)
• The Journal of Consciousness Studies
• The University of Pennsylvania
• Wheaton College
• Hunter College
• The University of Adelaide
• The Society for Neuroscience
• The University of Manchester
are all looking into the neurobiology of religion and spirituality. Using
modern technology like SPECT brain imaging they are taking advantage of
recent technology to unlock the connections between our brain circuitry and
its relationship to spiritual experience.
At the same time our chiropractic schools and research
institutions are looking into such exciting things as the connection between
non-specific manipulation and a host of diseases and disorders that, if we
show we can help, hopefully a third party will pay us for. And the most
sophisticated piece of technology lying around might be an x-ray machine. I
say fire up the electroneuroencephalomentipograph!
Throwing limited research dollar after research dollar
into the same old mill, we ignore potential research breakthroughs that have
their basis in clues given to us by people like Candace Pert BIO . In her
paper The Neuropeptide Network (3) she states: "Normally one thinks of
the conscious part on the top and the unconscious part toward the back. But
we would go further 'back' (or down) and say that the subconscious is in the
spinal cord and even 'lower.' Psychologists talk about deep subconscious
processes. Clearly the network of chemicals that we have attempted to
describe suggests that the subconscious extends to one's T-cells, to one's
monocytes, and, in a kind of flowing wave, back to one's brain cells."
She continues: ...our research suggests that the
usual picture of the limbic system should be extended to include the spinal
cord, for a third area enriched with neuropeptide receptors is the dorsal
horn of the spinal cord."

The site above will take you to an awesome animation showing the descent of
the baby through the birth canal. It shows an UNMEDICATED birth and that the
baby helps propel itself through the birth canal against the contracted
uterus. A DRUGGED baby cannot do this, therefore episiotomy with forceps or
vacuum is needed in most cases....or even the doctor pulling with much force
on the delicate newborn spine. In fact, research shows an epidural increases
the risk of a c-section by 10-20x.
After viewing the animation, click on the *E-strip* link on the left to see
a demo of an electronic fetal monitoring strip which shows how baby responds
to introduction of Demerol....or try this link-

33 Dining Specials at the Café of Life
R.W. Stephenson and B.J. Palmer laid down the 33 Principles of Chiropractic
in the early 1900's. Chiropractic is based on these principles and we
are going to list all 33.
#1 - The Major
Premise
~
A universal intelligence is in
all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus
maintaining it in existence.
#2 - The Chiropractic Meaning of Life.
The expression of this intelligence through
matter is the chiropractic meaning of life.
Meaning: Chiropractic's sole
purpose is to remove interference so your body's intelligence can be fully
expressed resulting in Health, Healing & Life!
#3 - The Union of Intelligence and Matter.
Life
is necessarily the union of intelligence and matter.
Meaning: Without matter (physical) there is no life. Without intelligence there is no life.
#4 - The Triune of
Life.
Life is a triunity having three necessary united
factors, namely: Intelligence, Force and Matter.
Meaning: A living thing must
consist of physical (matter), mental (intelligence) and spirit (force).
#5 - The Perfection of the Triune.
In order to have 100% Life, there must be 100%
Intelligence, 100% Force, 100% Matter.
Meaning: To express 100% Life
Force, physical, spiritual and mental processes must be at 100%
#6. The Principle of Time.
There is no process that does not require time.
Meaning:
This is a Universal Principal - applies to healing, growing, dying, etc...
#7. The Amount of Intelligence in Matter.
The amount of intelligence for any given amount of matter is 100%, and is
always proportional to its requirements.
Meaning: Your body always has 100% intelligence and if you
should loose an organ or limb the intelligence will remain at 100% even
though the intelligence in that organ or limb is removed.
#8. The Function of Intelligence.
The function of intelligence is to create force.
Meaning: Innate Intelligence maintains the human
body in order for Life Force to exist.
#9.The Amount of Force Created by
Intelligence.
The amount of force created by intelligence is always 100%.
Meaning:
Life force, which is created by Intelligence is always 100%
10. The Function of Force.
The function of force is to unite intelligence and matter.
Meaning:
If you didn't have Life Force, you wouldn't be alive!
11. The Character of Universal Forces.
The forces of Universal Intelligence are manifested by physical laws; are
unswerving and unadapted, and have no solicitude for the structures in which
they work.
Meaning:
Universal Forces are always in existence, always manifesting and express at
100% regardless of structure.
12. Interference with Transmission of Universal Forces.
There can be interference with transmission of universal forces.
Meaning:
Interference of your body's Innate ability to heal and thrive can occur in
the body.
13. The Function of Matter.
The function of matter is to express force.
Meaning: This is
a tough one for me to put in words or give an example - if you come up with
something, let me know.
14. Universal Life.
Force is manifested by motion in matter; all matter has motion, therefore
there is universal life in all matter.
Meaning: There is an intelligence in ALL matter. This explains
how an Oxygen molecule will always be an Oxygen molecule-there is an
intelligence continually maintaining its properties and existence.
