Dr. Kira Frketich,N.D.

Kira began her study of Naturopathic Medicine at age 5, watching her mom mix brewer’s yeast into her orange juice for extra B vitamins during her pregnancy. She continued to study her parents’ healthy lifestyle throughout her childhood and decided to follow in their footsteps.

Since that time, Dr.Kira’s passion for nutrition and health have been the focus of her life. Dr. Kira studied Naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She has been in practice for two years, starting with a year in the CCNM clinic before returning to BC to take over the Port Moody Naturopathic Clinic.

The focus of Dr. Kira’s practice is very much centered around aiding the natural healing powers of the body (Innate & Life Force) to do their work. By supporting the major organs of the body through therapeutic diets, supplements and classical homeopathy, health comes back into balance and disease subsides. The Port Moody Naturaopthic clinic where Dr. Kira practices is a general family practice welcoming all types of health concerns from acute and chronic illnesses, to children and woman’s health care.

Dr. Kira is licensed by the CNPBC (College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia) and a member of the BCNA (British Columbia Naturopathic Association). She is delighted to be able to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for the art and science of Naturopathic Medicine with you.

Dr. Kira is providing Naturophathy to the Tri-Cities through her lectures at Planet Organics in Port Coquitlam as well as through her clinic in Port Moody.
